Okay. So my roommates are making cookies and I saw them putting on red and green sprinkles. I then said, “Why are you putting on red and green sprinkles? Why don’t you use blue and orange sprinkles?” They responded with, “Because those are the colors for Christmas.” So my question to the world is:
Who determined that red and green are the official colors for Christmas?

The Holly Leaf, which is green, means everlasting life. The red berry on the Holly represents the blood Christ shed for us. Just in case you wanted to know, the wreath, which is circular stands for love never ending. The candy cane, which looks like a shepards crook, is for sheep that have lost there way and the star helps them find their way back. The bells are for those who have found their way. Santa represents generosity and the joy of giving. I just received an email with these facts in it. I just thought Santa was invented by some hard up department store as a way to drum up business.
